Dr. Himanshu Pandey is workind as Associate Professor at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, SHIATS, Allahabad. After completing his post graduate studies, he worked at R&D division of Morepen Laboratories, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, where he worked on various ANDA (FDA) projects. After that he joined the research group of Prof. Avinash Chandra Pandey, Principal Investigator, Nanotechnology Application Centre, University of Allahabad, for his PhD research.

Dr. Himanshu worked on Nanotechnology based drug delivery system under the guidance of Prof Avinash C. Pandey and awarded PhD in 2012. He has been working in the area of drug delivery based on low dimension carbon material, mesoporous silica nanoparticles and polymeric nanoparticles with the collaboration with IIT Kanpur, Nanotechnology Application Centre, University of Allahabad, IIT-BHU, and IMS-BHU, Varanasi.

He has over 25 publications including 4 book chapters of high national and International repute. His research received prestigious RGYI Award from DBT, New Delhi and ACS-SCSG grant by American Chemical Society, Washington DC, USA. He has received Chancellor Gold Medal by then President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam,  for securing  1st rank in B. Pharm. Examination. He delivered numerous invited lectures at different Universities and Institutes in India.
